Intensive Holiday Programmes for 4 Plus

Some of the most competitive schools, such as Highgate, Alleyn’s, (and we expect Westminster), are building more academic testing into their 4 Plus assessments. There are now literacy and mathematical tests in these schools’ assessments. These are often profoundly misunderstood by parents who, for example, can believe that counting is something to do with mathematics when actually it is really just a form of rote learning and so not relevant. Literacy, particularly phonics is also often mistaught by parents who do not understand the principles of phonics pedagogy, which is so different to how they were taught letters and words.

To help pass the 4 Plus for these most competitive schools we run intensive, attainment based weeks over the summer and in October. These sessions are conducted 1-2-1 and last for an hour. In order to attend these courses you must be invited to do so following a successful assessment or coaching process. Please book in below.
