We at Mentor Education deal with many parents who are returning to the UK or who are International and want to relocate to the UK. There is often some surprise and discomfort about the competitive nature of Independent Schools, particularly in London. Our package includes:
- A session between our Director of Education and the parents to understand their educational goals and objectives and how these fit in with their life plans
- A session between our Director of Education and the child to understand what sort of school and educational journey would be the best fit
- An detailed Academic Assessment. This sees us understand both the current attainment and the future potential of the child. This is done in conjunction with Cambridge University and sees your child get placed statistically against a huge sample of UK children. We know what the results mean for school selection options across the UK educational landscape
- A post-assessment meeting to discuss the results of the Assessment and to give you advice on potential educational journey. This includes details school options guidance based on parental values, the child’s personality, the current educational attainment of the child and their academic potential.
Our Director of Education, Mrs Gill Cross, has extensive experience of helping internationally mobile families make the right choices. Her experience is grounded in many years of experience as a Deputy Head of one of the Girls’ Day School Trust schools – one of the oldest and most prestigious set of independent schools in Britain.
